About Us

Chalet Arkle is owned by Andrea and Tony Rafferty who live in Chester, England.

Prior to taking a career break to bring up Emily, Andrea held senior Marketing positions within the travel industry including a stint with one of the UK's leading luxury tour operators.  This gave Andrea a front of house and behind the scenes insight into luxury hotels at their best with much of this understanding built into what is now Chalet Arkle. 

Tony is an award winning entrepreneur whose company is now quoted on the London Stock Exchange.  Tony spends over 100 nights a year in hotels around the world.  Having built up an intolerance to poor standards this has set the driver for Chalet Arkle's development.


Andrew and Debra are our chalet hosts for the 07/08 season.  They are fun friendly people who dedicate their time to making sure guests have a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. 
 
Andrew and Debra are supported in Chamonix by Jon Law who is now in his fifth year of Chamonix operations, what Jon doesn't know about Chamonix, it's nightlife, ski schools etc isn't worth knowing.
